    Thanks for the reply.

You mean the loss of formatting and spaces/ paragraphs while posting clarification requests?

This is by design. Whenever one posts a clarification request, all the line breaks and links are removed.

Hope this answers your query. Thanks again.

I want you to stop texteing me .it may cost me

whoever is texting you is not likely to be on this site. contact your phone service provider and ask about blocking texts from specific numbers, find an app that allows you to block specific texts, or simply ask the person texting you to stop texting.

HOW TO BLOCK CALL ON IPHONE

Need to block a specific phone number from calling or texting your iPhone? It could be telemarketers, spam text messages, or that crank that won't stop calling and messaging. Apple's iOS does not have a built-in feature to block a phone number, but there are other solutions.

1. Your carrier might be able to block individual numbers. AT&T has an optional feature called Smart Limits for Wireless that runs $4.99 per month. One of the many functions is the capability to block up to 30 numbers from calling or texting your iPhone.

Verizon Wireless offers Spam Control for no additional charge. This feature can be found under My Services when logged into your account, and blocks up to 5 numbers from calling or texting.

2. Owners of jailbroken iPhones can install apps from the Cydia Store that will block phone numbers.iBlacklist is fully compatible with all iOS devices, iOS 5 and older firmware. For a one-time cost of $12, iBlacklist adds a plethora of useful features to your iPhone including the ability to block calls and texts from individual numbers.

MobileLog is currently in development and will be offered for sale to jailbroken iPhone owners soon. The app will also provide many enhancements to the stock calling app as well as number blocking.

3. Make sure you've registered your iPhone number with the National Do Not Call Registry. This will not stop texts, but it will require most telemarketers to stop calling your line within 31 days. Complaints can also be filed using the same website, and phone number registrations with the service never expire.

4. Assign a silent ringtone to the numbers you don't want to answer. This stops calls from bothering you, but texts will still sound an alert.

5. Another calling only solution are services such as TrapCall, which has plans starting at $4.95 per month. No iPhone app installation is required, and once you're signed up TrapCall will unmask blocked caller IDs and blacklist unwanted callers. More expensive plans can be purchased that offer more in-depth functions.

Pls stop message Mozook.com to my number 971556143596

Reply back to their text message with the following: STOP

Do not include anything else in the message. This should make the messages stop. After that, you can contact your cellular service provider and ask them to block Premium Messaging or Premium SMS on your line. This will prevent providers like Mozook.com from billing services to your account and sending you these type of messages. If at any time you want to sign up for a premium service, you can just call your provider again and have them remove the block.

If this solution helped you, please accept it, and give me a few thumbs up, thank you!

  • 1 Call you cell phone service provider and tell them that you want to block text messages from a certain number. Your provider will stop all texts coming from that number

  • 2

Reply to an unwanted text from a company or organization with "unsubscribe." If you're getting SPAM texts, this should make it stop.

    Hi

the blackberry curve 8520 doesnt have any pre installed software or application that will block a certain number from calling/texting us.

Sprint cannot stop this because that number/user initiates the text message and they cannot get that one particular sender to be block on their server so you will not get any messages from that number.

    2 Possible solution

    1. you can buy the black/list software for curve 8520 that will allow you to block that number to call/text you.

    2. you have to change your phone number.

    Hope this help

There is a big black box blocking the screen and it will not come off. how do i solve this problem without a original remote.

Check your TV's closed-caption settings. You'll likely find it's set for TEXT mode. Turn off captions or set for CC1 or CAPTION 1 if you want to use the captions. Your trouble is due to the set blanking out a block on the screen where the text should go, but there isn't any text to display. Most TV remotes have a single button for caption control, so it's easy to get into text mode without knowing it. Then on channels where captions are being broadcast you'll see the box. On other channels or programs you don't see it.

Please take a moment to give this solution a fixya rating if it clears up your trouble, and thanks for asking here!

    Blocking Calls

It can't be done on that phone.

You could try calling your provider and ask them if they could do it or another way is to save the number into your contacts and assign a silent ringtone to it, the only drawback is that it will ring (silently) then eventually go to voicemail. It will also not stop them texting you.

The only real way, which is not always practical, is to change your number!
