First, check for dust. Compressed air works to clean it out.
Second, if the fan is not spinning at all when the computer is turned on, make sure it's plugged in - a wire should connect somewhere
If neither of those work, you may just have to look into a replacement fan, at the least, or a new heatsink/fan assembly. Make sure you get one for AM3 (as Intel sockets - usually designated with a number like 775, 1136, etc. - are secured differently.) They can run from cheap to over $100.

Try an external monitor. If that works, reseat the video cable at the motherboard and at the LCD. Otherwise, the LCD is probably dead.

This processor need better cooling system as it is powerful it need more power so I suggest you to upgrade your Power Supply and buy more efficient processor fan cooler. made some quick research.. i would say the mobo unable to support the new processor. checked the BIOS update n CPU support list in Abit's site..

didn't show X4 processor is supported :(
