Well check you printer spooling, and also go to internet properties, try and check is you diable activeX, this is what is preventing some images form showing. About the printer, if it prints on other packages except the ones mentioned, then it is a matter of spooling, it will take some time it will prints. just enbale your activeX if it is off and disable if it is on. it means the procesing sped of your system is slow.Good luck

How to do anything

Which version of IE are you using ?
Outlook Express is the official e-mail software of Windows and can be found on any computer running Windows.
However, there are times when it is missing, perhaps because a previous owner or user uninstalled it.
If you cannot locate Outlook Express in your applications, try re-downloading and installing it.
Finding Outlook Express Downloads

Since Outlook Express comes with the Windows operating system, finding a copy of the installation program could prove difficult; few download sites on the Internet carry it.
Searching for "Microsoft Outlook Express" on the Microsoft.com website will also lead to a dead end.
However, the program is available for download on Microsoft.com under another name.
Download the latest version of Internet Explorer from Microsoft.com downloads section by searching for Internet Explorer and clicking the download; it will be the first download to appear. Doing this will also install Outlook Express on your computer.
Once the setup has begun, Internet Explorer will install, and then the setup for Outlook Express will begin. At this point, the setup program will download the newest version of the software.

Can open to msn but cannot open email??

I had exactly the same problem, but I also noticed that links weren't opening in Outlook express or last.fm. I followed the following guide and this sorted the problem. Hope it helps you out too:

ake Links Work in Outlook Express, Outlook and Any Other Email Program

To make web pages open again when you click links in emails:

* Make sure neither Outlook Express nor Internet Explorer are open.
* Select Control Panel from the Start menu.
* Click Internet Options.
o If you do not see Internet Options right away, click Network and Internet Connections before.
* Go to the Programs tab.
* Make sure Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser is checked.
* Click OK.
* Close Internet Explorer.
* Re-open Internet Explorer.
* Click Yes when asked Internet Explorer asks "Internet Explorer is not currently your default browser. Would you like to make it your default browser?"
o If Internet Explorer does not ask:
o Close Internet Explorer
o Select My Computer from the Start menu.
o Choose Tools ' Folder Options... from the menu.
o Go to the File Types tab.
o Highlight (NONE) URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol.
o Click Advanced.
o Highlight open.
o Click Remove.
o Click Yes.
o Click OK.
o Now click Close.
o Start Internet Explorer.
* If you use a browser other than Internet Explorer, start it and make sure it is the new default.

The above does not work? Try this:

* Now select Run... from the Start menu.
* Type "iexplore /rereg".
* Click OK.

Or, if that fails, continue with:

* Select Run... from the Start menu.
* Type "regsvr32 urlmon.dll".
* Click OK.
* Click OK again.
* Repeat the Start ' Run... procedure with the following commands in this order, maybe checking after each for returning function:
o "regsvr32 shdocvw.dll"
o "regsvr32 mshtml.dll"
o "regsvr32 browseui.dl

Dear sir i unable to print from outlook express IE8. I able to print when i have IE6. pls tell som solution for this problem thanks, keerthi

Try to disable Protected Mode under Internet Options>Security. IE8 has some kind of protection against printing anything you view.

Hope this helps.

You need to set the default brower which you are using. If you are using Internet Explorer, please follow the steps to set the default:
* In Internet Explorer -> View menu -> Internet Options -> Programs
* Enable
'Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default web browser'

Cannot open links in outlook express does not open IE if i click on any links in emails

First go to "programs and features" uninstall Google Chrome.

Go to "Set Default Programs" (Control Panel>Default Programs>Set Default Programs)

Select Internet Explorer and click Set this program as default

Select Microsoft Office Outlook and click Set this program as default

Run Registry Editor (regedit.exe) and browse to location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Ext and change the value data of all DWORD entries from 1 to 0.

Launch Internet Explorer first; launch your Mail client (hopefully Microsoft Officer Outlook).

Check if all is well and you are now able to open links from within your Mail client.
