Question about Breadman TR875 Bread Maker

Kneading Paddle won't turn

I just bought a used TR875 off e-bay and was looking forward to making bread with it today.

I plugged it in, and everything appeared to work fine. I scrolled through the various menus, then selected the loaf I wanted to make, put in the ingredients, and started the breadmaker.

The kneading paddle turned two or three times, then stopped turning and it is instead just making a "clicking" noise when it should be turning.

I have unplugged it probably 10 times and gone through the whole process again and again. Each time, it turns only 2 or 3 times, then stops turning and just clicks.

Any suggestions? Did I get taken on e-bay?

Same problem, same product, ebay too. Did you buy from seller "all4you312" out of Homer Glen, IL?? Did you return your breadmaker or do you still have it?? As of 4-4-08, I am trying to resolve with the seller since it was listed as "New". :(

I also have this machine and the clicking but no kneading. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the exact same problem, bought it new off the internet, used twice, dough did not rise right at any time, third use just started clicking noise and not turning paddle, and illumination light for control panel no longer works. Any solutions will be greatly appreciated,

I think it's probably "glued" stuck from honey or molasses or something.

BOIL 2 cups of water and pour into pan.

Repeat 3 or 4 times, and when you pour the last hot water in, start your Breadman on a rapid cycle.

put pan into breadman after the motor starts up leaving that last hot water in it.

(yup, this just worked for me).

I bought mine new from the store and after 3 months it does the exact same thing. I think the problem is not your seller but the manufacturer...

I added the ingredients as per instructions, switched the machine on. After 5 mins, it stopped and went blank. No power to the machine. What do I do?

Give it back to your son. Just kidding! Try plugging it in somewhere else. And make sure the cord is connected good.

The paddle for my Breadman BK1060BC has been coming off during kneading. Today, I saw some grey residue in the dough. Is the problem with the paddle, pan or both? Thanks.

I just purchased this 2 days ago and started to use it. I noticed the bread pan would wobble and was noisy during the kneading cycle. On the second use the paddle came off during the kneading cycle. Being a service technician all my life, I started to analyze the problem. I was previously surprised how loose the bread pan fitted into the bread maker and suspected there should be something to support the pan and hold it in place. I could not see anything obvious, but after looking carefully I noticed spring clips on the bottom of the bread pan, and also mating spring clips in the bottom of the bread maker. If I pushed the bread pan down fairly hard into the bread maker the bread pan would snap firmly in place. This stopped the wobbling during the kneading cycle and the paddle coming off. I could not find anywhere in the manual where it explained the bread pan must be pushed firmly down into place until it snaps in. The manufacturer should explain this to their customers on their website.

Why did the kneading paddle on my 1148X bread machine quit working. This happened the third time it was used. It did the initial mixing and resting. When it started the kneading process again, the blade...

Hi, If this is the third time using it, it could be defective. Return it for service. If not under warranty, try a few things. 1) Make sure the pan is inserted in the machine correctly. 2) Make sure that the paddle is not sticking, or the sealed bearing on the bottom of the bread pan is not broken or frozen. (Take pan out and see if you can turn the paddle freely by hand). Or finally, the belt may be loose and slipping, especially when it takes more power to knead the dough the second time. Good luck...Hank

Kneading paddle having problem kneading

Sounds like you might need a new belt. If it works ok with nothing in it but wont when the dough is in there

Big chunk out of loaf bottom

Unfortunately that will happen almost every time. I have the instruction booklet and it states it may even BAKE into the bread as well. No way of getting around the HOLE in the bottom of the bread.

TR440 Breadman won't begin kneading once "start" button is pushed

Hi takes 30 minutes to PREHEAT this silly machine for wheat bread. I thought I did something wrong, too........I stopped it twice after it preheated for about 15 minutes. I did not want to waste anything so I let it stay in the machine.....I just went to check the machine and it started after 30 minutes of preheating.

I wish they would mention this in the book!!!

TR875 paddle for breadman

I lost the kneading paddle - called the customer service number and they told there are none available and they are no longer making them.  Guess I just throw the whole unit in the garbage since it is worthless without a kneading paddle!!
