My Chigo wine fridge continually frosts up at the bottom of the fridge and the last tray freezes to the back wall of the fridge.

Same problem with E8 error - fridge does not shut off and ends up freezing the contents. May be a problem with temp sensor? I now use a timer so the fridge only runs half the time to prevent freezing up.

I have a Chigo that displays error code E2.1 alternating at times with E8. The unit runs intermittently. My dealer and I agree the control circuit board is faulty and should be changed at a cost of $125. It is likely due to a failure of the control circuit board, but more specifically the circuitry on the control board related to the upper temperature sensor. The connectors for the sensors and the connector between the compressor and the control and relay boards are also flakey, and this could be the cause, but I could not isolate a bad connection, so will change the control board and hope that fixes the problem.

I had the error codes and freezing bottom section too. I removed the controller circuit board located behind display and found that one of the connectors required re-soldering. Pretty easy fix.

I reported a problem of a faulty control circuit board 9 months ago. The replacement board worked properly, but it is very different from the original board that came in the machine. Several components are bigger (higher power rating I suspect) and there are 2 temperature probes instead of the single sensor. It appears Chigo learned that their design was poor and fixed it at their customers' expense!

Good morning, our wine enthusiast fridge, model 280 06 26 04 is making a drawn out humming noise. Any insight on what to do?

If the sound is from the back of the fridge the there is problem with the compressor or the motor fan. sound from the bottom of the fridge is due to your fridge is off balance. If the sound is from inside the fridge and becomes louder when you open the fridge, then your evaporation motor is probably broken.

E1 error code LFWC38F6LS

Good Morning Chris,

I see that you are receiving an E1 error code on your wine cooler, model# LFWC38F6LS, even though your wine cooler is still working. This could possibly be a false error code, caused by a miscommunication between the different control boards inside your appliance. I suggest resetting it by either unplugging it or cutting the power at the circuit breaker for 2-3 minutes. If when you bring power back to your wine cooler, you are still receiving the E1 error code, I suggest contacting either the manufacturer or your local authorized technician. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Euro grand bar fridge glass front. Have just replaced curcuit as supplied as apparently all had 100 % failure rate! We bought 3 including dual zone wine fridge. Have replaced boatds, but not not cooling...

If these were bought new, it sounds to me like the company still has a problem with their control boards. I would get the manufacturer on the phone and ask to talk to someone in Engineering.
If bought used, be sure they are set up for the proper supply voltage.

Why is there water in the bottom of my wine cooler

cos you have condensation inside due to the fact that it is not frost free OR you have a seal leak.....OR the door is constantly open and closed (my beer fridge is like that.....)

Wine fridge thermostat

No pictures, the new one goes in the same as the old one comes out. You have 2 screws on the bottom of the evaporator that holds the sensor in place. Then the sensor runs thru the bottom toward the back.As you remove the old one jus put the new one in the same way.

My light for my marvel wine fridge will not turn off?

There is also a light override ON/OFF button next to the door switch to allow the light to remain on for display setups. Make sure that switch is off. If it is off, then your door switch must be shorted out and should be replaced.

Wine fridge light does not turn off

You may know this already, but for what its worth. There is a small switch on the bottom vent grill for on/off of light. Check there first.....
