I have a Black&Decker QuantumPro Q200 drill that will not reverse. I have replaced the switch and still the same problem. Works great in forward. Can anyone help?
I am assuming the new switch was wired correctly, I would look for the pin or similar device that switches it from for/rev. If your switch has a post look at the slider and make sure not broke or your pin not put in rightt position. Let me know
My Ryobi switch is mounted on a small printed circuit board and piece of copper track corroded and I had to use small hard wiring to reconnect it back into the circuit, if you can meter out the patterns(if it has any), it may just have a crack in it causing the failure.
