Small appliance I have one of Durabrand's deep fryers and I have used it one time and it has burned up and does not work anymore. Is there anything you can do about it or do I just need to trash it?

If you only used it one time and the failure is not your fault, I would read the user's guide to see what your warranty options are. You may qualify for a free replacement.

My fryer won't turn on, what should I do?

Most small appliances have a printed circuit board that gets fried. (sorry for the pun) You have power to the unit so that's not the problem. I think it's time for a new fryer.

I have the kenmore deep fryer 81533, i just tried to use it for the first time it has been stored in a box for along time, it is brand new though, i had someone look at it and we opened it from the bottom...

That was your thermal switch. It is a protection for overheating and fire. When the deep fryer draws more current than it should be, it will open up the circuit, thereby protecting current flow and overheating the appliance.

Need a electric chord

Hi,
If you are lucky, they will be using a Euro plug, that is generic to a lot of appliances, and available in lots of electrical retail stores.

If not though, I would first try the store where you bought it from, and second try an applaince repair centre.
if it is a wired plug, then it should be possible to use a standard plug with a new length of 2.5mm 3 core flex. I expect it will have a moulded plug - so you will need a new plug - don't attempt to re-use it.

Deep Frier power indicator light is on but will

Most fryers have what is called a hi limit. When the oil temp reaches a certain Max temp this switch opens the circuit and will not allow the unit to heat. On commercial fryers, the hi limit has a really small red plunger button. Push it in to reset.

Bravetti Deep Fryer Model F1053B Not getting Power anymore

Hey guys I fixed my problem...yay. All I did was to push a red button which I beleive is a resset button on the back of the on/off button part. It ain't visible but if you look in the holes of the screws that hold this part together (they are far down in the hole) one of them hides a small red button. Push it down with a toothpick or anything small enough to fit the hole and you're done. Plug it back and it works.
