Question about Memorex MMP8565 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Deletion When I go to delete a file off of my mp3, a window pops and says, "Bless The Fall - His Last Walk could not be deleted. The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected." And it's plugged in.

I've had the same problem repeatedly now. I've tried contacting Memorex and the only solution they can offer is to reformat (essentially wipe it clean and start anew). But it develops the same problem as I'm reloading it, even if I put completely new songs (direct from CDs, so no bugs that I know of) and it's a waste of time to have to do that.

Since their tech support team is completely unhelpful, I'll gladly take a better answer.

Go to memorexelectronics.com and then to support. You need to upload the current firmware for model MMP8565. I downloaded the firmware program and followed the instructions, it fixed all the problems I was having with the mp3 player. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully, it may get a little tricky if you are not somewhat computer literate. By the way, it will erase everything that is currently on your mp3, but it does work. I couldn't use my player for months, until I found a solution.

How do I recovered deleted files from a Tascam DR-1MP3 player

Hi! As far as I can tell, there is no way to recover anything deleted off the recorder (found this out the hard way!) Best advice I can give is back it up on a hard drive asap before deletion. That way your material can be put back onto the device at a later date. It\'s a pain but it\'s saved me a few times!

Sorry I couldn\'t be more help!

connect your player to the PC. open the 'My computer' window and open the player to display all the files present inside the player. Now you will have to decide which files have to be delected. check one by one, right click and selcct delete to confirm deletion.
Repeat and rearrange all your files. Now enjoy your favourite songs. Good day

Accidental Rockbox file deletion

You will have to find someone with the same make/model and copy there files over to yours. This sadly is the only way to fix it.

How to delete video files from iriver e100 mp3

The video files should be in the video folder instead of the music folder - use Windows Explorer to be sure. If they are not showing up, switch the device's mode to MTP mode and see if the video files show up as available for deletion.

Cannot delete the songs on mp3

I do mine through Windows Media Player
1)Plug in Sansa
2)Open up Windows Media Player and wait for the Sansa e250 icon to show up under the library. First time, might say 'What device is this' or 'Autoplay'-for autoplay, you click 'sync media files to Sansa e250 using WIndows Media Player'
3)When library shows, click 'Sync' if it is not already there.
4)Just simply click and drag the songs you want from the computer library to the list pane on the side.
5)Once your done, click 'Sart sync'

TO DELETE
1)Plug in
2)Wait for the icon under Library in WIndows Media Player
3)Go to Songs under Sansa e250
4)Right click desired songs and choose Delete. You only want to delete from Sansa e250-nothing else

I cant delete songs off of my mp3 player

did you try going into (if you have a windows pc) My Computer, and navigating to where your player is (your player should be hooked up to your pc via a usb cord - the one that came with your player). your player could be in a removable disk - mine is (J:), or it could be under Other (all of this is still in My Computer). Click on different removable disks if you have to, until you find the one that has your player. Once you have found your player, double click to go inside it. Inside of your player should be a list of folders. One of them should be named Music. It could also have a Playlists folder, an Audible folder, or a Pictures folder, etc. Click on the Music folder. You should see a folder of all of your songs, OR you will see your song files. Select the ones you want to delete, right click and select Delete, or drag the files to your recycle bin. Hope this helps!
