Hey sorry have been off line due to the time differance did you get online with your normal ie or did you use mozilla if its through the normal route then the problem was more than likely due to down time with their server or if their is to many people on line you can also get this problem.

Sorry you had to wait for reply but the time differance and also my job prevented me from answering you as soon as you would have liked sorry anyway

    Do you need further help

I would have answered your comment but it just depends on time differance as i might be a sleep or even at work ok

Disable custom error 404 page

Um, no offense, but did you even read my message before posting that reply? I'm not having connection issues. There is nothing wrong with the wifi, or with the router's connection to the internet.
My problem is that, when I try to go to a URL that does not exist, e.g. http://no.such.url, instead of seeing a 'Could not find the sever specified' page, I get redirected to http://dlinkrouter/error-404.htm.
I'm confident that this issue is cause by the router, not by the ISP, since it is redirecting to a page served by the router itself.

NO DISPLAY

Im sure you are aware but have you downloaded all the displays and updates? you need these for the graphics and displays to work properly. Really more info would help better solve this problem. Also try to reset it by pushing the pin in the front bottom right with a pin-pen or something with a tip. http://resources.jvc.com/Resources/00/00/95/LVT1158-001A.pdf is a link you need pages 26-27 for downloading instructions.

Facebook doesn't load but an attachment start to download during loading

Try loading with a different browser.

When such issue occurs it means that the server (or something in between) is not communicating with your computer properly. Or in a few words, instead of displaying web pages it downloads them on your computer. This is most likely a technical issue with your Internet Service Provider or with one of Facebook's servers. I bet my kidney it will be cleared out withing a few hours, but until then - use a different browser :)

When anyone tries to log onto facebook on this computer the page does not load completely. pics and page layout is not displayed well. and all u really see are ads displayed in the middle of the screen....

Try using a different internet browser. That will most likely be the least complicated way to fix the problem. Firefox, and google crome usually work well.

The page dose not fit in the screen its cutoff right to left

Your display settings are wrong go to the display settings in control panel and change the resolution this site will tell you the correct size for your screen top left of your browser where it gives you the option to either Minimise,Restore or close click the middle one to restore this will bring your browser to the full size of your screen and re set the page to fit accordingly if that doesnt help try the link below http://docs.mioplanet.com/lcd_monitor_resolution_chart.php

D-Link wireless router has been greta, until yesterday- the Roku boxes say my router strength is excellant, but all of a sudden, the box can no loger connect to the Internet even when I select my router-...

The router most likely is not synced properly with the modem. Your computer might still have a strong connection to the router, but isn't getting an IP address. Power everything down, including the modem and restart in this order:
1. Modem - allow a minute for it to run thru its diagnostics 2. Router 3. Computer
Once you've done this, if you're ISP isn't having outages, you should have the internet working again on your computer. If this doesn't work, call your provider.

Internet explorer cannot display the webpage. I have renewed IP address, checked connections, checked modem and cables, reinstalled Explorer 8, reset Explorer to default settings. HELP!! We need this...

Either that page is down due to server error or something is blocking IE. Try another browser - Opera is the most standard compliant and it has a debugger in it, it will help you with diagnosticating the errors.

Thank you for using
FixYa for your problem

ok, is it only the Home page not working, if you manually type in a website you do get there page.

I am thinking the Home page link is a old link and now dead. manually type in the address for the home page and see if that works

Netscaping

Yes, Netscape 6.2 will work properly with the web page-based interface used in D-Link DSL routers, however, due to problems the browser has loading Java applets and working with Java scripts all of the features may not be visible. Netscape 4.7 does work with the interface, but is extremely slow in loading the various configuration pages. For these reasons, it is recommended to use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x or 6.0 to configure D-Link DSL routers. Internet Explorer loads the pages faster and Java applets work properly, as shown below. Note the tree in Fig. 1 (using Internet Explorer), representing the router´s various configuration pages and in Fig. 2, the PPP Connection information. Using Netscape 6.2 as shown in Fig. 3, the configuration tree is missing and in Fig. 4 the PPP Connection Information is not displayed.
