Try opening "my computer" and exploring your cd drive with the disc inserted, look for a file called setup.exe or similar as it may not be an auto running disc especially if a cough cough cough !! copy

I have a HTTP error message 403 after uninstalling spy doctor, how do i fix it.

http error 403 --means "forbidden access error" and is an HTTP status code signifying accessing the page or resource you were trying to reach is absolutely forbidden for some reason, in this case you cant access that software makers address or html.
So if you unistalled the ANTI-SPY program, accessing that page for the software maker is now not accessible to you, as the cookie has been delted from your system or is now become corrupted.

i would , if you can, restore factory settings to your computer by taking the CD recovery set and reinstalling the OS from scartch -- its healthy way to get your system to run more smoothly.

if you do not have the CD set , clcik here www.restoredisks.com

please leave positive feedback for me

if you need more help, let me know

I'm trying to install CD Label Maker (Data Becker)and can't install to windows 7 (64 bit). Is there an upgrade availabe? Installation CD is for Windows 95/98

Often old programs will install if you go to the CD and make install.exe or start.exe "run as administrator".

Some times you also then have to run the program, after it is installed, in compatibility mode. Again, right click on the program icon, select the compatibility tab, select an old OS like XP or what ever the program used to run in.

Windows dvd maker telling me it cannot create dvd

Try CD Burner XP
http://cdburnerxp.se/en/download - Site, Download Page
http://cdburnerxp.se/downloadsetup.exe - Download

When you open the program up, just try making a data disk, and then you can drag/find ur files and add them to the disk and try burning in that program : )

You might have a windows service turned off though... Called "IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service"
Goto your start menu > run > services.msc
then look for the service called "IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service"
I know it exists in XP but I'm not sure if it exists in Vista, I know it doesn't exist in 7 so it probally doesn't exist in Vista.

How do I return our Dimension 5100 Dell Desktop back to it's original state? Lost the recovery CD.

Have you tried restoring your operating system to a previous restore point?
To do this click on start- all programs - accessories - system tools - system restore. Then choose a date from the calendar which corresponds to a time before you began to experience problems on your PC. Follow the on-screen instructions to restore your PC to its original state.
Note that a system restore will remove any programs which were installed AFTER the selected restore point date.
Hope this helps.

Graemevm

Getting "the source and destination folders for this operation cannot be the same" error when trying to import .pst file in calendar

Sounds like a problem created by the last Microsoft upgrade or hotfix install. If you can roll the installs back to the last time your set-up worked that will tell you if this is the case. Look at the Hotfix history in the Control Panel / Programs section to see when the last set of hotfixes or Service Pack install was made and see if any correspond to the time when your set up stopped working. If this is the case look for the method of rolling back th installs in the Help function - F1, this is different depending what version of Windows you are running. Once you have done this if the setup does not work you may have to reinstall Outlook.

CD-ROM drive

try this
go to start>all programs>accessories>system tools>system restore. try to recall a date when your programs used to work well that is highlighted on the calendar and select that date. it will not erase or delete any of your files but will only remove any new program/software or updates that was installed in your computer
