Please check if the CD/DVD driver is installed properly:
To check:
1. Click Start - Right-click My Computer Choose Properties
2. Click Hardware then Device manager
3. Check if there is a yellow question mark on CD/DVD
If Yes - Reinstall CD/DVD using WINDOWS UPDATE

1. Try to check for loose connection between your IDE cable and IDE Socket
2. Check if the 12V Cord from the Power supply is properly connected to device
3. Check MASTER or SLAVE setting:
Normally the IDE Hard disk will be your PRIMARY and the CD/DVD will be your secondary/slave -----
