Memory upgrade hi hope you can help,i was upgrading my sons toshiba L10 i forgot to take battery ouy before i put memory in so wen i went to turn it on theres nothing not even a light comes on and wen i put charger in the light doesnt light to say its charging its completely dead.....help plz

If the problem sounds as it seems, you need to take the ram that you put in out, see if it turns on. if not, you may need to replace the battery. the laptop will not work on the charger itself, that ay be the problem.

You can upgrade your Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 800 Laptop to up to a maximum of 512 MB Memory, the system has 2 sockets to install Memory, already with 128 MB (removable) standard Memory installed. For best Laptop performance use the maximum amount of allowed Memory per slot for your Laptop.

What is the max ram for toshiba laptop model #

That modell comes with 256mb rab and supports up to 512mb ram.
The ramtype on it is SDRAM

click download and follow the instructions.

RAM uprgade doesn't work on Toshiba SP6000

You need these modules:
PC133 512MB (PA3108U-1M51)
PC133 256MB (PA3086U-1M25)
PC133 128MB (PA3085U-1M12)

Furthermore you can upgrade the memory to max 1024 MB

I want to know if I can upgrade the harddrive and memory


Depending on the memory you already have you can install upto a maximum of 1GB 266MHZ DDR, and cannot see any reason for not being able to upgrade your hardrive for a bigger one, but be aware that the Operating system backup will probably be on a seperate partition on your current hardrive, unless you got an installation cd with your laptop.
