Hi dear

Depending on how you connect that device, if you plug it through USB, then an icon should come up in "My Computer" as a removable disk, just go in that way and delete the files manually.

If your device comes with software, you could probably use the software to delete the music off of it that way.

oke

Go to the sync tab on Windows Media Player while it is plugged into the computer. Over on the left, you will see the Player's name. Click on it and then click on artist, album, etc. and find the song or file you want deleted. Click on the specific file and press the delete button and you should be able to. If you don't connect with WMP, let me know what you use so that I can tell you how, also please post the type of mp3 player that you have if this doesn't work so I can be more specific, good luck

How do i deleate the music?

You can delete the music by plugging it into the computer's usb port and once the system detected the new usb device which is your sandisk sansa mp3 player, right click on your windows start button and choose Explore. It will open the windows explorer window. From your left panel, look for the local drive letter associated with the sansa mp3 player and click on it to show the contents on the right side of the window. Once you see the music, you can just click on the files to highlight and press delete on the keyboard. That's it!

My boyfriend deleated all the music from my iriver mp3 and now i can't get it to change mode. i change the battery i even pug in the usb and it is still say scaning for music

If your computer recognises it, then all you have to do is to sync the music across from your playlist in windows media player. This should unlock it. (Change your boyfriend too :D)

When i download music it goes into a file and i cant listen to it

I drop all downloaded music to one place, then get WindowsMediaPlayer to look there for music ln the add files to libary.
When this is done just "Sync" your device in WMP and choose the files you want to add.

Please rate this solution if you find it helpful. It is how I "Sync" my own mp3 player, everyday.
