I have the exact same problem. I have had people come out and look atmine on three different occasions. In each one the washer wouldn't actup and they would say there was no problem but I was charged for theirtrip each time. I was shown that it was not leaking from the tub andthat the seal in the front was not torn and told that there was nophysical way that it could leak. It does continue to leak badly on 1 -2 out of 3 wash loads. Has anyone any idea what is going on?

Same problem hre also. But with a new twist, Now , after this last load of clothes, a SPRING popped out from behind the black door gasket.

Shall I pull off the lower front panel and investigate?

This washer is 7 years old and has been great until this week.

    HELP!

Leaks water during spin cycle and seems to be coming from the back right side of the washer.

Water does not leak from underneath while washer is in use. It leaks a little (from underneath) a day after I've done laundry. Then it will leak a little more a day or two after that...and then leak again a few days after that. I find maybe about 3/4 of a cup of water on the floor each time I find a leak.

Open the door though, put your hand around the rubber boot assy, run *** all around looking for small tears, and or holes, if so replace it. only other thing to do is remove the lower access panel and watch it spin a load and youll be able to detect where te waters coming from

I have a f&p Smartdrive 708 washer that is leaking water underneath the machine. It is only a small leak at the moment. Could the seals be worn out?

Hi you need to identify where the water is coming from three main places are 1: pump seal 2: a hole in the drain hose 3: Main bowl seal my advice is turn it off at the wall lean it over and have a look underneath and clean floor area. does the base of the main motor look clean if yes its probably not the main bowl seal. So its down to the last two if your models got the plastic removable cover on the front its easy to remove it and watch where the water is leaking from my "guess" is a pump seal you will see it drip/ splash of the pump fan during drain/ spin cycle Be very careful to turn off at wall as there is voltage around these things even when power is off at the machine panel

About 1 minute into the cycle water starts running out from underneath of the washer. Checked all the hoses that are connected to the back and none are leaking

this is either the front seal that goes from the outer tub to the front of the washer or a hole in the outer tub itself or one of the hoses underneath the seal and the hoses are easiest to check you can take a cup of water and slowly pour it into the front seal. take care not to overfill it to where it spills into the tub and see if you are getting water on your floor from that. the hoses tip the washer up onto its back and look at them from the bottom for any cracking etc. the tub itself can only rust out on some of the neptune models or on others is plastic and can get punctured. just have to look for damage with a light and a mirror.

In the spin cycle water leaks onto the floor,

If the hoses at the back are not leaking, you need to check the drain hose lines, aksi check that the machine is not dripping from the inlet valve hose, or because of a leak from the door gasket.

Amana washer

take the front panel off, two screws at the bottom of the front panel, probably a 5/16 nut driver will work. You will need a flash light. partially fill the washer with water and then turn it to spin.

Look up underneath the tub and see where the water is leaking from. If its coming from above the bearing you need a seal job.

Bearing, seal kit, not cheap, how old is the machine, time to buy a new one?
