I borrowed this new rainbow from a friend. Thinking there was no way I could tear it up. I cleaned out the water bowl and did not completely clean out the cleaner... Well after it was on 1 minute.. it shut off.. and the bowl was overflowing with bubbles. I immediately took it apart and tried to dry it. It still does nothing when I switch it on. not even a sound.
The foam caused the Rainbow motor to trip the self resetting cut-off. Wait about 15-30 minutes and it should turn back on.

Hi, there is no reset button on a Rainbow vacuum. There is a safety switch on all E series and E2 series Rainbow vacuums, that keep it from running without the water basin on it.
If you have any more questions let me know. I am a Rainbow seller, and a Rainbow expert also.
Thank you,
Ralph
One other thing, water sucking through your vacuum should not hurt it. It is not good though, but will not make it not run.
Thank you again,
Ralph
