I have a LG VX8800 Venus Black and the top display is reversed and upside down when you look at it.
I've powered the phone off and removed the battery, but neither will correct it.
The only way to clearly view the display is to hold it upside down in front of a mirror.
Suggestions please?
Have you tried a factory reset yet? That can help.

I had the same problem. What I did was plug the headset in pushed the buttons so I could hear the keypad beep. Then I quickly unpluged the headset. Hit the keypad and the sound was back. Hope it works.

I am in Jamaica and cannot go with your plans. However if you are that of a humanitarian please if you would just tell me what to do or I would have to get another phone. Thanks in advance I really love this phone and really can't afford another right now

Get an expert to check your LCD connectors, they seem to be problematic. If not, there might be a display IC that's damaged. Which means you'll have to get it replaced. But both will void any warranty if performed by anyone unauthorized. If the phone is under warranty, go to LG and ask them to fix it. If you're into electronics, you might want to open the phone's front case VERY carefully and see if the display connector is loose, and press it back in. If that doesn't help, then it's up to the experts.
