Question about Panasonic CQ-VD7001U Car DVD Player
I have a Panasonic CQ-VD7003U It will not allow me to see dvd's on head unit it just flashes enjoy the music but it will show the dvd on the rear screens. How do I fix this? I did not recieve any manuals with this when I got it from my brother, He does not know where they are. thanks
The solution is simple really. Take the parking brake wire (blue/yellow stripe wire) and connect it to the ground wire (all black wire). This will trick the DVD player into thinking that the car is in park with the parking brake on at all times.

I have had mine for 3 years.. The only thing you have to do to get the screent to work while you drive is connect the brake wire to the ground of the car...

Sounds like dual zone is activated, itll allow you to play dvd in back but not when youre driving. you may have to frig the unit to allow dvd display whilst driving, this usually involves a cable thats supposed to connect to your handbrake.
