You will need to trust the other pcs on your network otherwise they will be treated as hostile. You should not really have any problems; if they are detected you can work with them. You would not trust something which was not on your network. To use a firewall you usually have to tell it which sites are OK and which are not. If you have a program you explicitly want to allow through your firewall be it comodo or one care, eg hotmail you need to put this on your whitelist or allow list. Most firewalls block by default and you have to tell them to allow the things which allow you to work. Just because your network can see them it does not mean they are allowed through your firewall.

Get AVG off your computer, and try again..that comodo firewall is quite enough, and you can then use Norton Internet Security in association with Comodo.

Don't panic!

Commodo has detected some sort of networking in your set-up. This is probably because you have got more than one computer connected via a router.

If your computers are connected solely by cables then you can safely allow it to trust the others.

If you have some sort of wireless connection, or are using a wireless router (even if you do not actually use the wireless part) then it is still safe to do so as long as you have enabled the security on the wireless connection (WEP or ideally WPA) otherwise your computer(s) could potentially be hacked into by an unauthorised person accessing your network.

Either way, trusting the network simply means that Commodo will not try and block any traffic between the computers. It will not lower the level of protection you get from the internet.

Hope this helps,

Matt

Do i need to install anything before using my notebook on the net

Yes, you should have firewall and antivirus programs installed to protect your notebook from the myriad of malware threats that exist on the internet.

If you are running Windows XP with Service Pack 3, Vista or 7, then you have a built in Windows Firewall which should be enabled if no other firewall program is installed.

There are a variety of both free and commercial security products available which will offer good protection for connecting to the internet.

AntiVirus tools
Microsoft Security Essentials http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows/products/security-essentials
AVG Anti-Virus Free 2012 http://free.avg.com/gb-en/homepage
Avira Free Antivirus http://www.avira.com/en/avira-free-antivirus
Avast! Free Antivirus http://www.avast.com/en-gb/index
Integrated Security Suites
Comodo Internet Security Free http://www.comodo.com/home/internet-security/free-internet-security.php
Outpost Free Security Suite http://free.agnitum.com/

Of the above I have been using Comodo Internet Security for some years and find it very good.

Important Note: Do not install more than one AntiVirus program as this will cause problems. Windows Firewall can be enabled when another firewall program is installed but isn't necessary and most firewall programs will automatically disable Windows Firewall when installed.

My computer start working in a slowly way with security alert

This could very well mean that your computer is infected.

You should get a good antivirus software and a startup manager so that your computer should boot
and work better.

There are some great Free AV software, I recommend:
Avast! Free Antivirus 6
Rising Antivirus 2011
Comodo Antivirus 5
AVG Free Edition 2011

Choose one and install it ASAP

The only great startup manager that I know is Startup Defender.
It's not free but you can try it for 30 days.

I WANT TO INSTALL ANTIVIRUS PROGRAME

To fully protect your computer against threats you need 1 antivirus + 1 firewall + 1 or more antimalware software.

I agree with eng_omran_77 Microsoft Security Essentials is one of the best antivirus software.

You can also try Malwarebytes and Superantispyware as malware blockers and Comodo Firewall.

You can find them on:

Download, install and run AVG or COMODO. You also may have spyware. So, download, install and run SpyBot, too. Good luck.

Update an antivirus

Sometimes AVG is unable to update due to their servers being updated. Verify that you can go to free.avg.com. If you can go there and your program still refuses to update, re download a new installation package, run it, and do a repair installation on AVG. That should fix the issue. If it doesn't, uninstall AVG completely and then reinstall after you reboot 2x.

Black screen on the right side of my acer 5630

Have you tried Video drivers from INTEL instead of from Acer?

I use the drivers right from the factory sometimes that takes care of the problem.

Also have you done a scan for malware, spyware, virus, and any other nasty program?

That could be one of those things.

I use AVGfree, Comodo firewall, and "spybot search and destroy" to keep my system clean.

None of the above cost anything to acquire and run if it asks for payment you are in the wrong place. These are top rated donate ware and are very nice. Spybot has to be manually told to look for upgrades but the others do it automatically.

Spybot http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/
AVG http://free.avg.com/download-avg-anti-virus-free-edition
Comodo http://www.comodo.com/

AVG is my choice for a Virus scanner and Comodo's Firewall is great. You can buy the others if you want.

Comodo has several other tools but AVG seems to have everything covered in my opionion. I just use the Internet Security product from Comodo.

Norton or avg free edition?

Both AVG and nod32 are quite good against viruses, but being only antivirus, and not a complete security suite, are both weak against other malaware threats.

If you do not want to buy a complete security suite like Nornon internet security, or Macafee security sute you can buy either AVG or nod32. Install a firewall like Zonealarm or similar to integrate the antivirus protection. AVG takes less RAM than nod 32, otherwise performances are similar.

If you are really worried about additional threats, you can integrate a free antivirus with a firewall and a good antimalaware like Spybot-S&D. This may slow down the computer a bit.
