How to delete recent log contacts?

go to your call log > select which log you want to delete > option > delete. this will only delete from call log not from your contact list. thank you.

hi, you can tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase all Content and Settings first, if it doesn't work, you can try iPhone Data Eraser, which can delete recent contracts permanently on iPhone and easy to use. It helps me a lot.

please do the following

go to MENU---------------> go to LOG----->go to MSG. RECIPiENTS----->delete one b y one which ever contact you want to delete.

this deletes the recent log only

try to open your call manager or call log menu. once open, you can see the list of people whom contacted you and whom you contacted, there's a call log list, press it and it will give you a drop down menu, which will filter the people, select sent messages and it will give you the list people whom you texted, from there you can delete them and they will be removed from your recent contacts.

To erase the recent recipients list, you must do a master reset of the phone. This will erase all texts, alarms, and any other personal settings you set on the phone, but it will erase your recent recipients. This is the ONLY reliable method I found

just text a few different people until the contact is no longer a "recent" conacts, i thinks its like the last so many contacts in the list, i'd check mine but my screens just broke

I am having the same problem. I just contacted my wireless provider and they were stomped!! They tried calling Samsung directly but they are closed on Sunday's. I will be calling tomorrow but I have a strong suspicion that because there is no prompt to delete the log that a "Master Rest" will have to occur. Be advised that if this is done, that log may be deleted but so sill EVERYTHING else that is not factory set. All data will be lost if that is done. So hopefully that won't have to occur.
