Got dell xps 420 changed sound cards and now get f1 to continue of f2 or f5 to set up

The BIOS or setup menu is asking you to acknowledge that you have installed a different sound card. Just enter the BIOS ( setup menu, F2 ) and then exit and save changes.

Is my Soundcards THX True studio pro compatible?

Hello you can find the info here:

http://us.store.creative.com/Creative-Sound-Blaster-XFi-Titanium-PCI/M/B001E25KDK.htm

As far as i can see it only have 5.1 surround sound.
And no thx certification.
A THX certified card is more expencive.
The games you play, must also have the thx logo, and must be encoded with the thx sound system.
A thx system is 7,1, and the speakers must also have the certification.

Here are the gigabyte homepage:

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3960#dl

The onboard sound card is 2 channel stereo.

Hope this was helpfull

Hy, I have your mainboard AsusP4S800 vith soundMax digital audio we are conect game pad in the game port but he is not worked. In the control panel we have not driver for this hardware on Asus board....

This is your board:
http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_478/P4S800MX/#download
Unfortunately Sound Max is no longer available and you may be able to find the driver at the Asus site I gave you. It would only work for the version of Windows your system came with and, I can't guarantee that. Your easiest and best option at this point, would be to upgrade to a PCI or USB sound card. You can use something like this:
http://us.store.creative.com/Creative-Sound-Blaster-XFi-Surround-5.1/M/B0044DEDCA.htm
Which is a USB card or, something like this:
http://us.store.creative.com/Creative-Sound-Blaster-Audigy-SE-PCI/M/B000LP0R3E.htm
There are others available:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100009293%20600011977&IsNodeId=1&name=PCI
Any of these sould work for you and, in the long run, you will be happier with an added card.
Good luck,
Dave

I have a Dell computer and was given a set of BA735 speakers and also the CD to downlode them but it comes back telling me I need a sound Blaster card, what do they mean. Can I fix easly my...

Those peakers have digital sound that your system can't provide without th addition of a sound card. The Creative Sound Blaster Surround 5.1 pro is a sound card that hooks into a USB port and will hande the digital sound.

I would like to know what are the replacement parts for a video card and sound card for my Gateway GM5480E, or suitable parts.

You have a PCI Express slot on this computer (the black slot that run horizontally on the bottom half of the board. It is compatible with PCIE spec 1.0, so whatever video card you get MUST be 1.0 spec. The 2.0 spec won't work. You did not provide the information on your power supply, but this is another important consideration. Many video cards require a certain wattage output, and many will also specify a minimum output on the 12V rail. The more powerful the video card, the more likely this will be a problem. If you are a gamer, get the best card you can for the price, and make sure to check about power and the PCIE specs for the prospective card. If you are not a gamer, look for a slightly cheaper card, as you really don't need all that power.
As for sound cards, your PC has 2 PCI cards, which you can slot in any PCI sound card. I prefer the soundblaster line of cards or Xfi from creative labs. Depending on your Operating system and how much you want to spend, I can provide a better recommendation. Feel free to post more information on your PC if you want a more specific recommendation.

When in game my sound is all crackly and echoy...

sounds like your setup for the card is wrong or your driver may need to be re-installed...there should be a program for setting up the sound card...open this program and look for a setting called latency,or buffer length settings...these settings need to be correct in order for your card to function properly...the higher number will give you more samples/sec resulting in better sound but will use more system resources...you may need to tweak the card this way to get the best possible sound...if not, then you could re-install the drivers to see if it works....if all this doesn't work, then you may have a defective card

Aspire 5500z

Your E510 has the Dell recovery partition on the hard drive, accessed by CTRL/F11 at initial boot up and it will restore the PC to the original factory condition (without need for any CD's). This is the best way to restore.
As far as the sound drivers, it depends on what you have. If you have the Integrated Audio (on the motherboard) then the SigmaTel R114282 is the proper driver (and you should ONLY install drivers from Dell for the integrated sound due to Dell's custom implementation). If you have an optional Dell installed sound card then you need the SoundBlaster Xfi driver listed on the downloads.
