My sat nav 3100 keeps zooming out (that far that u

My sat nav (myguide3100) keeps zooming out (that far that u can see the earth) and will not show me were im going it also goes to a page were u can see the distance marked by 2 flags and a line to how far away u are between them ?? would appreciate any help thanks !

Delete the "SAVE" directory from SD than put it back turn it on an VOILA it works.

I've lost all maps & I cant get the sat nav to reset or give me the screen to tap in any postcodes

How can i update my guide sat nav

If the maps are on an sd card you may be able to put tom tom on but as for updates myguide no longer exist and so don't provide updates. Mine still works fine and any roads that have been built that don't appear on the sat nav i have managed anyway.

The start position is coming up in a different location and when the car moves the sat nav stays at the same location. The screen also keeps sticking.

Could be a satellite acquisition problem, mount your GPS in a window area or use an external antenna.

Screen keeps turning off

Some sat-navs have this feature as a power saving option, try looking through the menu to see if there is something like turn screen off
