Hi, i have a nokia 6131 and it has always worked fine, but recently it was taking very long to boot and then switch off again and after some trials it will switch on and works normally. but yesterday i switched it off by mistake but it seems that it won't switch on again :( it starts loading but the screen will turn white and then switches off again.. can you advise pls? i read in other queries to upgrade the software or flush the mobile? will these have affect on my contacts, messages and calendar pls?

Try taking out the battery, putting the original SIM back in. Then reseat the battery again. If the interior screen doesn't come on, insert the power cable before switching on (using the power button on the outside of the case).
That's worked for me in the past.
check your buzzer if it was still ok, using tester set it in X1 if the buzzer creates sratch sound if you connect your testprove in the terminals of your buzzer it was ok but if you cant hear any sound, it was defective, so you have to replace it. good lack........
Hi - Nokia 6131 cam . My cam stopped working when there was too many pics being stored. mine store on a 1 gig card ( reccomended ) and it is possible to periodically put them on my PC - you need a way to store them first before deleting - unless you dont mind just dumping some now and again. But it cured the prob. My cam now works ok. I think the card was not holding that many pics as it should because it was not 'formatted' , well . . . . we will see if it makes a difference.
