The toner you bought is problematic, return it to the shop and ask for new one.

When I print in black form a Kyocera Mita FS-C5016N printer the ink looks smduge. Do you have any suggestions/solutions for this?

It could be a fuser, drum, developer, or transport belt problem among other things. The FS-C5016N is an old model color printer and if the maintenance kit has not been replaced it probably should be. THe maintenance kit contains the items above along with a few others.

Had a paper jam and was printing a total black

Three suggestions for you
1- check your toner cartridge, might be empty, totaly black page will use enough toner for about 200 normal pages worth of toner,
2- did you use a cleaning solution on the drums? if you did then you could be facing a slippery drum, as in the toner will not adhere to the drum long enough for it to print. You are going to have to wait untill you print enough to wear this layer of cleaning solution off.
3- some printers and i think yours is one of them use a type of print film in the system. Not sure how or what this film does, but if it is not put back in place or it is fed into the unit wrong , then your printer will not print,

That's it for my ideas. Hope one of them works for you.

Magenta is bleeding down the center of the page Kyocera FS-C5016N

you most likely will need to replace the magenta developer...
you prob dont' need a tech to do this..
these machines get very dirty..
take out all the toners.
underneath the toners is the developers.
there is a connector on the right hand side ..take out the connector
than pinch both grey tabs together and pull up and out the magenta developer... clean the magenta develop (vaccum out) or replace it

Blotchy excess red toner left on side of page.

My first instinct would be to call the people who serviced it and have them check it out for you. If you don't have time for that then the next and slightly more expensive solution is to replace the magenta toner cartridge. My reasoning for this is if you get them to come out and explain that it is since they cleaned it then they can pay for the replacement cartridge, or clean it again. But I think that if the new cartridge does not solve the problem, then during the cleaning the tech made a magenta mess somewhere in the printer. I hope this helps.

Kyocera FS-C5016N

when you open the left cover you will see some green plastic things. If you pull these towards the left they will clean print heads and charge coronas.
If this does not fix the problem the you will have to remove the dev and drum units from the machine.
The print head sits on top of the drum unit and can be levered off with the three tabs gently lifted.
the entire print head can be remove once the black cover has been unhitched from the sides.
The print heads are not screwed in and what ever you do DO NOT TOUCH THE SCREWS on the print heads as they are only for density adjustment
