change the gas coils on the gas valve by removing the 2 screws holding the bracket for the coils, remove the wire harnesses to each coil, dont worry one coil has 2 wires the other has 3 so quite hard to reverse
it may be the thermofuse, which is a safety feature. You can bypass it. I believe to have someone work on it would be under a $100 if that is the problem. I do not know how often this happens but I am assuming that it happens every time you try to do a load of laundry. If this is true then I would take the fuse out tape the wires together and watch the dryer complete a load of laundry. I would then buy a new fuse which are under $30. The fuse is a safety feature which will keep the dryer from catch fire as it shuts it down if it gets to hot. Hope this helped tim

Hi,
Either the motor gets hot and blows the breaker or if it is electric the heater element gets hot and then shorts out...
There can be many reasons why your dryer will not start or turn...
The most common causes are the belt breaking or jumping off, or the motor going
bad...
Here are a couple of tips that I wrote will help you to figure out why your
dryer will not run...
Most likely, the operating thermostat has failed. When the dryer heats up, it gets too hot and the high limit thermostat turns the machine off. After it cools down, it will start again.
Unplug the machine! Check the thermostats for continuity with a multimeter. All thermostats should have continuity at room temperature.
Sounds like a faulty operating thermostat. Only way is to test on a electric griddle that you can set the temperature to 150 deg and measure with a ohm meter.
Sounds as if your high temperature thermostat is going bad or is bad. Check your thermostats. If your dryer gets to hot this will shut it down for safety reason!
