My solution to this has been to unregister the keyboard with my computer, and then re-register it. It happens on both my Windows machine and m macintosh. So I suspect that somehow the keyboard just gets confused at some point.

How do I use my wireless keyboard?

Hi patsy,

I see you have a wireless keyboard that you need assistance with.

  • First lets find the USB dongle that came with the wireless keyboard.
  • You will need to insert that n one of your USB ports to be able to have BT capabilities for your wireless keyboard and get it connected.
  • Next you may need to install a software that came in with the wireless keyboard that you have.
  • then once install if there is a program or not you should see a Bluetooth Icon on the lower right hand side of you scree where the time is.
  • Right click on the Bluetooth Icon then select open Bluetooth Settings make sure that on the settings window the box where it says Allow devices to detect this computer is checked.
  • once checked click on apply.
  • then after doing the settings you wireless keyboard should have a button underneath it or maybe on the side that says connect, press and hold that down for at least 2 seconds to enable the Wireless capabilities of your Keyboard the system should detect that and give you the option to connect the wireless keyboard you have.
  • Once you are on the connection page it will show you a code which you will need to type on your keyboard to get the wireless keyboard detect by the computer.
I hope that this helps.

Have a nice day,

I can't type anything and it has new batteries in it

Most wireless devices require a link to be established between the receiver (the part you plug into the computer) and the device itself. Here are some steps to try to make sure this connection has been established:
  1. Look on the keyboard and the receiver for buttons. Often they will be labeled as "Connect". These buttons may not be immediately obvious as some of them can be recessed and may require a paperclip or thumbtack to press.
  2. Once you've found these buttons, hold the button on the receiver for 3-5 seconds, release it, then immediately press the connect button you found on the keyboard.
  3. If done properly, you should now have a connection! I hope this information helped.

Mouse will not work. I've changed batteries, unplugged and re-plugged the remote device. It will not work. What do I do?

Have you tried pressing reset/connection button on the device? Some Logitech models may have a connection button on the receiver which is plugged into the computer. The receiver button must first be pressed then press the device (mouse or keyboard) reset/connection button. Some Logitech models you will have to go into the Logitech software to start the connection software then press the reset/connection button when prompted.

Keyboard wont respond

Often this is simply because the radio link between the receiver and the mouse/keyboard has been broken. Some possible reasons for this are: flat batteries, insertion of new batteries, connector to the computer removed, etc.
In the first instance, you should restore the Logitech devices to a defined status (reset). To reset the device:
Remove the batteries from the mouse/keyboard for approximately ½ hour.
Press and hold the "Connect" button on the receiver for 15-20 seconds. Make sure that the receiver is connected, the PC is switched on and that there are no batteries in the devices. After resetting, insert new batteries and restore the connection as follows:
  1. Press and hold the "Connect" button on the receiver for 1-2 seconds.
  2. Then immediately press the "Connect" button on the bottom of the mouse (locate this button before you start, all cordless mice have a "Connect" button)
  3. Move the mouse around to check that the connection is working correctly
  4. Press and hold the "Connect" button on the receiver again for 1-2 seconds.
  5. Then immediately press the "Connect" button on the bottom of the keyboard (locate this button before you start, all cordless keyboards have a "Connect" button)
  6. Use the keyboard to check that the connection is working correctly
  7. Both devices should now be working correctly
If one or both of these devices is still not working, try them on another compatible PC system to ensure that the fault does not lie with your PC system.

Wireless mouse issues help

This information is straight off of Logitech's help forum. To change the channel a mouse is using, simply press the connect button on the receiver and then press the connect button on the bottom of the mouse. You can check the channel status in the MouseWare Properties under the Cordless Tab. You may also try to keep the distance between systems at least 10 feet or more. Moving the mouse closer to or further away from the receiver can also improve transmission and performance. If the above fails, try pressing and holding the "Connect" button on the receiver for 10 seconds. This will reset the receiver's connection information and allow you to do a first time connection with the receiver and mouse. After holding the Connect button for 10 seconds, press the Connect button on the bottom of the mouse to synchronize it with the receiver. Good Luck.
