Overheating after playing for 5 mins. it overheats and the game can be readed and it says that there is an error.. is there anyway to fix it..

sounds like the radiator is blocked either coolant flow or ext air flow through the matrix the thermostat can get ruined when the system overheats so allways change the stat after a overheat problem GET THE RAD CHECKED FIRST if ok check the coolant pump

It sounds like the shutdown is due to the card overheating. Does your card have a fan on it? If so that is probably where the buzzing noise came from. The fan either broke or is disconnected and thus the card is overheating. Try blowing out the fan with compressed air and making sure it is properly connected. If it is broken or you have no fan you may need to order a replacement fan or heat sync to fix your problem or get a new video card.

360's tend to lock up before the "red rings of death". You get this when the system overheats and has problems with the solder coming loose. Mine took a little over a weak before it got the red rings after it kept freezing after a few min.'s of playing.

It could be overheating because the fan is not getting enough air out. try cleaning the console itself outside and using can of compressed air to get any buildup in the vent holes and fan cleared. There are a few FAQS on this site to learn about a few tricks.

If your Xbox 360 will not play your games this is because of the sensors on the back of the drive overheating it is not normally the laser.

Luckily you can fix this yourself and get back to your games and to do this you need the proven Xbox 360 Repair guide.

Or you can send it in and they will fix it for you the repair will take about 4 weeks.

The reason that this happens is because the sensors on the back of the DVD drive have overheated.

When you overheat the Xbox it realligns the motherboard and the soldering gets supple again and will work for a little while, however this will not be permanent.

I think it might be false orverheating too, or a dead GPU atleast. I can suggest replacing the graphics card since it sounds like you repaired the system yourself anyway. There could also be a problem with the motherboard causing the GPU error.

E73 error dont have anything to do with your harddrive. This is what E73 is E73: General Hardware Error: Ethernet port... this error is caused by a problem with the Ethernet port.

All of the new games require more work from your graphics card, which without the new heat sync from microsoft, will over heat very quickly. You need to send you xbox to microsoft to have them fix it before you eventually recieve an error code or the 3 red lights or death.

If it only does this for this one game, you may have a defective game disc, it happens. Often, if you have just recently purchased it, you can return it to the store and tell them that it was defective and get a new one. If not, you can always try cleaning it though I doubt that's the problem.
