Desktop or Laptop computer ? XP If your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it Click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to sound video and game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X Right click to reinstall drivers if you don't have a motherboard disk you will have to download the drivers http://download.cnet.com/2000-20_4.html Tick in either the all software or windows software box On the home page you should see a search tab just type in what you are looking for IE: motherboard name audio driver you might have to try a few times to get it right Click start control panel sounds and audio volume advanced speakers make sure you have selected the (appropriate speakers) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the selected correct speaker settings there Click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it If his does not fix the problem Click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar for any further volume control settings you will need to right click on the speaker volume icon system select adjust volume Click start control panel sounds and audio volume advanced speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand system

speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check the speaker plug/outlets is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good with no dust as dust causes static electricity. Clean your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is

no MOISTURE in the air line or use a can of compressed air specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit

dust causes static to build up in a computer

I CAN PLAY MUSIC BUT MY SPEAKERS DOESNT WORK SINCE IVE CHANGE MY WINDOWS

The most common reason this may occur is that the audio driver's required for your speaker/sound card would need to be installed, find the manufacturer of your speakers and sound card, and go to there respective websites to download the appropriate drivers.

This should resolve your issue

I can't play music., beacause i removed my sound or audio device., how am i going to fix this!??

As you have not mentioned the Make/ Model of the motherboard/ PC, I cannot send you the direct link. But, in case you dont have the drivers - Dont worry, you can download the drivers from the internet for free. It requires a bit of googling or you can search the official support site of the motherboard /PC manufacturer. E.g. www.intel.com, www.hp.com, etc. Search for the model of the Motherboard/ PC you have, select the Operating System (OS) and download the required drivers.

Hope it helps! Good Luck!

Speakers not working, but cables all plugged in...

You will pobably need to load the driver for your system.

Go to Dell Support and click on the Drivers & Downloads box.

Follow the prompts to select your specific system model. you will end up at a page that lists all the available drivers for your computer. Click the + sign next to "Audio" and you can select "Download Now".

When the download window opens, select "Install".

No audio sound

It sounds like you have a sound problem. It is kind of hard to diagnose for I believe there could be a couple of reasons why your not having any sound. The first things I would try would be to make sure your speakers are indeed turned on to a proper volume, and double check which port your speakers are plugged into in the back of your PC. Make sure its not just a loose connection.
If you are unsure as to which outlet the speaker plugs into it is usually color coded. Green to green or something like that.

If still there is no sound all hope is not lost. It could be a simple problem with your drivers. Try going to the website for your sound card and download the latest drivers for it to install. I hope some of this helped. If you would like to email me with a few more details I would be happy to help. You can contact me at rogueninja@hotmail.com. Thanks and good luck.
