Question about Acer Aspire 5610 Notebook
Hi, I've just bought an acer 5720Z, which is in desperate needed of additional RAM. I can't remove the rear cover - the smaller cover is over the hard drive, which i can remove, but the larger one - after removing it's four screws - still won't budge. Is there a trick here that anyone knows about for removing this cover? I've replaced RAM in my previous three computers and never had this problem - covers usually come off easily.
All of the above answers are correct. You have to use a little force to get the covers off and then back on, but they will flex. Why the manufacturers make it difficult, I dont know.
