Re: how to put mp3 ring tone p800
You can download them directly from providers through your phones menu/options for a fee. Or, you can synchronize your phone with your PC via USB/FireWire Cable, or Bluetooth (I'm not sure that the p800 has Bluetooth or not though), and transfer them from your PC (if you have them downloaded to your harddrive?).
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

go the the profile.........personalize it and edit the ring tone option....select the folder where your mp3 ring tone are placed.....select the tone you want as ring tone and press ok...... this does not work on the handsets like nokia 6600, 3600 etc...... for such users you have to convert the mp3 format to wave format because such hand sets does not support mp3 format..........
"Ringback" generally refers to the music people hear when they call your phone. You have to set that up thru Verizon (or other carrier).
If you're talking about ring tones (what YOU hear when the phone rings) that's easy. Look for a folder called "Rings" inside the Windows folder on your phone. If you put an audio file (wav, mp3, etc) in that folder, it will become available as a ring tone.
I had to edit some of my songs on my PC to make them shorter to be applied as a ringtone. I made them about 20-30 seconds long so they would work. WHen I put entire songs on the phone it wouldn't work.
