Re: Problem with XBOX180..
You have two options. 1 you can put the mod chip on the new mobo and it will work. Because the hard drive is not locked. Or 2 you can extract all the information to your computer using any of these programs listed on this page: http://www.xbox-scene.com/tools/tools.php?page=harddrive

That code is basically the over heat issue. Or previously referred to as RRoD error. I am at the assumption that the new systems don't get the RRoD lights anymore but instead only get the E 75 error. (or similar error)
Contact Xbox support if your system is still under warrenty and hasn't been modified. If it has been modofied or opened already then you are in a completely different boat now and need to look at jumping through numerous hoops in possibly repairing your system.
Please resubmit problem if your sytem is modified or you have more information that could possibly lead to a solution being posted. Thank you.
First you have to modify your PsP to allow UMD dumper to work on your PsP. The easiest way to modify it if you are new to it is to get a Pandora battery. You can google pandora battery and a whole host of websites will offer them for sale. If you go this route then make sure you get the whole package which means that you may pay a little bit more but use a seller that is offering a magic stick with it. This magic stick will have the firmware on it to modify your Psp. These batteries come with instructions and can be purchased for under $25. Once you get the Psp modded then you can load UMD dumper and use this utility to back up your games to an ISO format and load them onto your memory stick... hope this helps. It may sound like a lengthy process but it is really simple once you get the pandora battery and modify your system.
Test you console with another harddisk to see if it detects the harddisk.
Also try a low level format on the harddisk with a pc so to ensure that there is nothing left on the harddisk, when reinserted in the ps3, the ps3 needs to fomat the harddisk, quick fomat will be enoug. If the original harddisk is still not detected, then your harddisk is defective and needs to be replaced, if the console also doen't detect the new harddisk then your ps3 needs to return to Sony because the sata controller on the motherboard of your ps3 is defective.
Make room free on your ps3's harddisk, this is where al data on your ps3 is stored. Some games install alot game data, resulting in a harddisk thats is full. Remove game data from games that you're not planning to play any more soon.
Check all of your settings and make sure everything is configured properly. If you made any changes to you system configuration just before this issue happened just change back to previous config and see what happens.
If everything is correct, then, unfortunately cleaning the lens is not going to help very much. This is similar to the "disc read error" on the boxy ps2. The best thing for you to do is to call sony and tell them that your blu-ray player is not working you can only read regular dvds. It has happened to a few people that I know and they were still under warranty and it was replaced. If this happens to be a common issue then maybe Sony will still replace it outside of warranty. Never know, but it is always worth a shot.
