Hi, I've got Amana SXD524VW Side by Side. Our ice maker fill water, frieze them to cubs but doesn’t split them to the ice box. The indictor is down and any try to find another option to the stop fail... what could be the problem?

sounds like the water valve has failed . ck it / in hte back where the water line is hooked .. it will be a dual valve one side for the foutain and the other for ice . do not cross the wires . mar them when you remove. and reinstall them the same .,mm
First thing to check is the fill tube and make sure it is not frozen with ice.some ice makers can be manually advanced in order to refill with water some have a reset button to do this if these two things do no good and the fill tube is not blocked with ice then repalce the water fill valve on the bottom rear of the unit
The water inlet valve on the back of the unit where the water supply comes in can have a slow leak and will cause ice to buildup and block the fill tube. Disconnect the ice maker line from the valve and watch to see if it has a slow drip. It doesn’t take much to eventually block the fill tube. The valve can leak because of sediment in the water preventing it from closing or low water pressure.
could be the auto defrost timer is running too long you can not adjust it but before you start troble shooting it check the door seals carefully they are typicaly magnetic and some times get deformed some place you might not notice tell tale indicator is tiny ice crystals around the edge near the seal...a little hot water poured on the ice maker will typicaly dislodge that frozen block.. good luck... nothing worse than no ice after a long day at work :-)
Pour about 1/2 cup of water into ice maker . If it dumps , replace the water valve . If doesn't dump , replace the ice maker . Also make sure the coils are clean of dust , lint , etc...the temperature(it needs to be 0-4 degree F for the ice maker to start) may be defrost problem send me a note if you need info on that
Unless someone has made a water level adjustment there is, Only one repair. Replace the ice maker. If someone has made a water level adjustment you can try this. Remove the ice maker plastic cover. Locate the water level screw adjust it to a minimum setting and try it there. If that does not correct the problem, replace the ice maker.
It is possible that your icemaker tray is overfilling and the excess water is running out of the ice chute. There is an adjustment screw on the icemaker head beneath the large white cover which can be adjusted to compensate for this. If not then the icemaker head may need to be changed to correct this.
