Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

V3 razr phone that will not turn on

I have a gold V3 razr that has shut off after sending a text and will not turn on even with a full battery. It has shut off before after a text but always came back on so I didn't worry about it. I have tried leaving the battery out and waiting about 10 minutes then putting it back in but it has not worked. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

You definitely have a bad battery, if you let the battery run totally dead too many times it ruins them. You can get them cheap on-line. The text issue is carrier related, call them and have them help you test and make sure you still have messaging services on your account.

Motorola V3 Razr Sending/Receiving pics in text messages

ATT should have looked to see if the internet service is turned off for that particular phone. If thats the case, you shall not send receive pictures. Thats the only the reason you should not be able to send receive pictures.

Call ATT again and ask them that. Sorry to say you might have got the high school dropout rehab person that day.

Failure to text

kmhicksyy - try master clear and reset, if that does not solve the problem...you may have to return the phone cause it could be a main board problem.

krlrvl, - reset it as well or call ur provider and see if it is a problem from their side.

Sounds like your phone's been through some rough treatment - try taking the battery & sim card off for a while - make sure there's no moisture & if you're still having problems, stop by your dealership shop & see what they can do.

Text/Voice Messages

I had the same problem. If you go to your message settings and select GPRS, change it to ON then to OFF. Then turn your phone off for a few mins then back on. You should receive all of your messages and all of your sent ones will go through. I have had to do this a couple of times, but it does fix it for quite a while. It is a know problem with the V3. Hope this helps. :-)
