This is everything I could find. The board is used in the Gateway Select 1400CS PC. Gateway doesn't recognize the model number, and MSI doesn't recognize the main board number. Cute, huh? However, in an odd quirk, Gateway DOES recognize the board number. Here's the info.: http://support.gateway.com/support/manlib/cmponts/sysboard/8507869/07869.htm. This says that the board uses PC133 memory, with a maximum of 512 MB in each of the two slots (for a total of 1024 MB). It also says that the fastest CPU supported is the AMD Athlon 1400.

Re: Drivers for MS-6389 Ver.1
Is it a Gateway PC?. They seem to be the only ones that use that motherboard. If so have a look on their website. You will need PC model or serial number. http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers/ddaStep.asp?pg=2&Tab=All

This board is also known as K8MM-V.
If you go here: Support For K8MM
Then you will find four tabs toward the bottom of the page, the second of which says Drivers. Clicking on this will give you a box further down which is a drop down menu to select your Operating System. Once you have done this there will be a list of all the drivers for this board and you can download whichever ones you want. You should note that this is quite an old board and it does not appear to support any OS above Vista 64bit as there are no drivers for Windows 7 or higher. Also with only 2Gb RAM maximum supported (according to the manual) I doubt its capability to run Win 7 or higher.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
This is the closest manual I could find for this motherboard. The link below will lead you to download a manual for the MS-6380LE (the other models close to this were MS-6378 and MS-6390)
However, it shouldn't be too different.
Please let me know if you still have problem with connection.
I've tried to find your driver but without results.. :/
better try some professional tool like this one: Driver Update Software for XP Vista 7 8
used it many times, and it's awesome.
wish you best of luck
Your hardware can be a cause of your issue , ( A.K.A bad DVD-Rom , power supply or even the hard drive ) Or the Opertional System is corrupted ( A.K.A Windows XP , WindowsVista , Linspire 6.0 or RedHat Linux )
Try to jump start it with a screwdriver, just touch the screwdriver to the place where the power connection (from the front) cable plugs in. If this works, you need to plug the power into there, if not, you may not be hitting the right spot, or the psu/mobo is bad.
