- We do have a dial tone on the "plain vanilla" extension. Tried unplugging the power and the phone line for 10 minutes; no change. I've just downloaded the manual, which we had lost. There was a mild thunderstorm, but the phone is plugged into a protected outlet that did not need to be reset. - GuestJun 20, 2008
- Suddenly the phone doesn't ring, either handset. I know that I have received a call when I notice the flashing red light indicating a message has been left.
