I have a skyfone branded wireless VoIP phone, the latest version of Skype and Windows 7. How do I get this phone to work on the OS??? The man who sold it to me gave me a link that isn't valid. I have found something for the phone but the page is all in Russian. Can anyone tell me where to go or do I need to send the phones back?

uninstall skype and download and install the latest version 5.5.0.117

I found a few people online with a similar problem. Here is the best answer I found from someone else:

"The latest Skype update made my Vtech USB7100 phone unable to recognize Skype. Vtech has no updates for the phone software, so I had to uninstall Skype 5.xxx and look for an older 4.xxx version. When I downloaded and installed, my phone was back in an instant. Hope this helps someone!"

goto freedownload skype website. check a vista version skype. download it.

VOIP 321 is working with windows 7. Install the Vista Software. After that you change compatility under properties (right mouse klick) to windws vista and it works fine regards kurt

The VOIP321 from Phillips does NOT connect to your wireless router. It requires to be plugged into a USB port on a WINDOWS ONLY desktop computer, which needs to be left on/logged-in with Skype running to send and receive calls. It wont work with Vista either.
Additionally Since Skype Version 3.8.0.188 (Release date: November 19, 2008) and all later versions (including Skype 4 Betas) the software Phillips supply no longer works with Skype and the VOIP321 phone. The latest VOIP321 <a href="http://tinyurl.com/6b2xrp" rel="nofollow">driver from their website</a> suffers the same issue, even though it states "The VOIP321 USB Phone Driver V 3.8.3 which can be downloaded from Philips web site is compatible with Skype software version from V2.0.0.x until V3.8.0.x". This is plainly no longer correct with the latest stable release of Skype, V3.8.0.188.
Skype developers are <a href="https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-599" rel="nofollow">unable to do anything about it</a> and Phillips wont update their driver (Quote "... no more development/fixes are being incorporated into the VOIP321.EXE file"). Phillips would probably rather sell you a newer bit of hardware.
Don't waste your time on Phillips Skype phone devices, as their driver support is lacking when Skype is updated, so you buy a product for a few hundred dollars and it becomes useless 12 months later.
Another reason to not purchase the Phillips Skype phones is that it is Windows Only. No Mac or Linux support or drivers offered.

go to www.vtechcanada.com click on cordless phones then click customer support and click on software down load and look for "For Windows Vista operating system:
USB7100 Setup version 2.35 – For use with Skype." save it and after that reboot your cpu and open your skype , log in and then open vtech cordless phone suit and check if all of the options there has a green check mark .. ok :-) and it will work and make sure you are using the 3.0 or 3.8 for your skype because 4.0 would not work. you can down load it in google skype version 3.8 or 3.0 ..
