Slow spin spin speed wont pick up but pump seems to be working

Early automatic washers used a motor with multiple windings to provide the various speeds required by different parts of each wash programme. Modern washers use an entirely different sort of motor and the speeds are selected and controlled electronically with feedback to ensure the speed is correct.

I suspect the problem is the electronics - the part of the programmer and controller that regulates the motor speed but you should check the motor and motor brushes, the drive belt and all electrical connections as a matter of best practice before you spend money...

this is normal as the pump is controlled by the program and not the amount of water available
the spin speed can start slow as the sensors feel for out of balance before going to high speed spin
down load a operators manual for the machine from google site and if you still have problems call a service technician in to check it out.

More than likely it is caused from not getting enough of fuel, Check fuel filter to see if its ok. God-Bless!

It's possible that the tub didn't drain properly in the allotted time and the remaining water is slowing your drum from coming to maximum extraction speed.

You have a blockage in pump or an item of clothing between drum and pump if water cant get out or is slowed the spin speed wont rise

you may need to replace the direct drive coupling. this part consists of 3 pieces, an inner rubber piece sandwiched between to nylon pieces. it is situated on the shaft of the motor. it is a wearable part and also an inexpensive part to replace. if you are handy you can do this yourself. hope this is a help to you.

Clean out the drain pump AND connecting hoses.

Try this:
The filter on your pump is probably clogged with lint and stuff. You have to remove the bottom front panel, 3 torx screws underneath. The panel will drop and come off. Drain off the excess water from the drain pipe you see. The white filter cover is right in front. Get yourself a good plastic bag to collect water. Unscrew the filter cover and twist the filter out. Clean out all the stuff and put it back in carefully. Check your pump too.
