O2 Xda IIi Smartphone Require software for PC suite

Hi

where can I have free software to install into my pc in order for me to connect them?

FYI, I hv just bought this 2nd hand unit and do not provide me with the CD.

Appreciate your great help.

    Checked in Microsoft.com and they offered Windows mobile device center which is For Windows Vista.... couldn't find it for XP OS..... hence tried to install the vista version of PC suit for O2 but got an error... it stated that it is not a Win32......etc! please help

I have an O2 Xda IIi Smartphone, i also connect my handset to my PC,but I've Require software for PC suite yet, do you mind to help me to give a Require software so that i can connect my O2 to PC?Please help me,,,,,if you aren't mind, please give me this software and send to my email.

Your phone's OS is Windows Mobile, and, as such, you need either ActiveSync (if your PC runs Windows XP) or Windows Mobile Device Center (for both Vista and 7). You can find both of them here. Download the version which better suits your current configuration, install it on your PC, restart it afterwards, and try to connect your phone through its USB cable. The first time you do it, you will be prompted to set up a partnership between them.

Software installing
There are two methods:
  1. Connect you O2 Xda to your PC using your USB cable. Connect using Active Sync. Double click the .exe setup of the software you want to install on your PDA. Follow the onscreen instructions.
  2. Directly open the .cab file (if you have) for the software you want to install on your PDA. The installation should start automatically.

Don't know how to run softwere
Hi. Actually, It depends on the software you downloaded: if it is an .exe file, you should run it on your PC while your Smartphone is connected with USB cable, and when you follow the installation steps ActiveSync will handle the rest of it for installing it on the Smartphone. Then, you can run the new software from your device's program menu. If it is a .cab file, you should copy that .cab file to your Smartphone (Any directory on your Smartphone) and you should run that .cab file through your Smartphone, which will start the installation and again when it completes, you can run your software through the Start Menu. Need help to connect my Pocket O2 mobile to my PC
Get a USB data cable, if you already don't have one. Then download the free Microsoft Activesync and install it on your PC and follow the Activesync installation instructions. You should be able to connect.
