Wed. Embarq having server problems, no email service. Thurs. logged on no internet connection. Embarq said they had no problems, call Acer manuf. Ran me through various tests computer still showing no connectivity. told to call Embarq back, they ran me through several test, determined that network adapter was not accepting IP assigned to call Acer back. Called back & now I'm to return to manuf. Is something I can do that would be less time and cost of shipping?

have your service provider check your router and WAN conection. Also request to look into the airial cable
