Question about Canon PowerShot A720 IS Digital Camera
My photos have a pink cast to them- especially ones taken outside with the sky in the background. I have turned MY COLORS to off and have reset all the defaults. It happens in both Manual and AUTO. White balance is also on Auto. Any ideas?
Canon recommended that we send it in for warranty repair. They fixed the issue and the camera is functioning normally again.

This is normal and not a malfunction.
It is caused by the bright light and will only be recorded in video mode.
Try to keep your camera aimed away from bright spots. There is nothing you can do to completely avoid the pink lines, but just be reassured that there is nothing wrong with your camera.
Hope this helps!
