With the keyboard upplugged from the PC.
You can use a flat tip screw driver & gently pry the s key up working your way around the key untill it pops off. clean the surface with a lightly soapy (not dripping) rag. Pop the key back on after it's dry. If the s key still does not function I suggest you get another keyboard. You can also try this. Click the link.

Sorry I missed the part ( You have a Notebook ). The virtual keyboard will work for you but you'll have to have it serviced. ( the notebooks keyboards circuit layout will have to be replaced. Suggest you use a pro to replace the part.

Spacebar key and right arrow key of my MX duo keyboard was not working.

First: Have you spilled any liquids on the keyboard? If so, you may not be able to fix this.

But try a few things...

1) Get an air canister, compressor or vacuum with a nozzle. Try and ****/blow any grit and grime from under the keys.

2) Carefully remove the spacebar and arrow keys using a small flathead screwdriver. Slide the blade of the screwdriver under the edge of the key and lift it up. Be gentle, as the small mechanisms holding the keys in place can break. Once the keys are removed, clean out any dust or grime using a lint-free cloth.

3) If nothing works, go get a new keyboard...you can get a nice one for under 30 buckaroos.

My display dimming keys are not working, all other keys are working it is the f2 f3 keys,

try blowing out all of the dust from your keyboard using a fine air blower from an air compressor making VERY sure there is no MOISTURE in the lines.
dust causes static which causes lots of problems with a computer and its parts
or if this does not fix the problem
click start control panel keyboard you can change your settings there
or you might have uninstall the keyboard restart your computer then reinstall it and its drivers
click start control panel keyboard hardware then properties you should see driver details, update driver, roll back driver, uninstall
make sure you have the driver for the keyboard before uninstalling the driver
make sure the lead is good and has a secure connection diconnect the keyboard then reconnect it then reinstall the driver
hope this helps

Try this.

Press the Start key + R.

type osk in that box and hit enter

On this keyboard, try toggling numlock scrolllock and capslock a few times. does it help?

Try using a USB or PS2 external keyboard to see if that works. If it does, then there is a problem with the keyboard on the laptop. I would then try reinstalling the driver for the keyboard to see if that helps. You would go into Device Manager to reinstall the driver. Let me know if this helps you.

Try reinstalling the driver for the keyboard. If that doesn't work try the keyboard on another computer. If the same thing happens you probably have a faulty keyboard and will need to replace it. If not, check for a more updated version of the driver at the manufacturers website.
