Probably, hit the reset button and let the computer recognise it again.

My wireless keyboard has stopped working so I cannot login, I have changed the batteries but it still will not work, can you please help?

It's a silly question to ask but have you made sure the batteries are in the correct way round, and also they are new and a matched pair, and is your mouse if it's wireless operated batteries okay.

Good luck

How to reset wireless keyboards and mice

A wireless system consists of a receiver plugged to the USB port of the computer, a mouse and a keyboard. The function of the receiver is to "listen" to the signals sent by keyboard and mouse. As there might be other wireless equipment operating within range of the receiver, ALL systems, independent of brand, have many different channels in which they can operate, without interfering with other devices. The mouse and the keyboard, separately, have to know which channel the receiver is working on, in order to transmit on that particular channel.
Most system failures (other than depleted batteries) can be attributed to the receiver " listening" to a different channel than the mouse/keyboards are transmitting on.
Resetting the system, to work on the same channel, may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, but basically all work with a button on the receiver that changes / resets the operating channel, and within a short period of time, similar buttons on the back of mice and keyboards that must be activated in order to "learn" the new channel set by the receiver.

Asus CS5111 keyboard stopped working

Try taking the batteries out of the mouse and let the receiver find the keyboard first, then once the keyboard is found put batteries back in mouse and let the receiver find the mouse.

Dell Wireless keboard model # RT7D40 not responding

You may need to press a button on the bottom of the keyboard or on the reciever portion to get it to reconnect. It will be a very small button, probably about an eighth of an inch, that appears level with the surface surrounding it. Use a straightened paper clip or ball point pen to press it. A pencil contains lead that could cause an electrical short between contacts, so don't use a pencil.

Keyboard stopped working

Hi there.
Firstly check the battery compartment for any leakage from the batteries while you was away, if there is leakage clean it off and reinsert the new batteries.
If there is no leakage insert the batteries.
Now, does your mouse have a docking station? I am guessing you have because it sounds like your keyboard is wireless.
There should be a connect button on the mouse docking station, if there is press it and hit the connect button on the keyboard and then hit the space bar, hopefully your problem will be solved.

Good luck and thanks for choosing FixYa!!

Hi. I spilled coffee on keyboard ACER 9410 laptop. Now a couple of the keys do not work and screen jumps when I hit some keys on right side of keyboard. Can I replace the keyboard to fix the problem and...

I did the same thing. Here's what I did:
Took whole thing apart. Cleaned any coffee with q-tips dipped in water / paper towels. Removed the keyboard. Ran it through the dishwasher with no soap in it and heated dryer off of course.
I let it dry for a day and was bummed that now the whole keyboard stopped working. Well then 4 days later to my surprise / delight.. the whole thing started working again. New keyboards on ebay were also very reasonable. But mine still works perfectly after the dishwasher cleaning.
