my washer is making a clicking noise, but not through the whole cycle. the clicking sound is very loud. the machine still finishes the cycle

when my washing machine is in its last cycle it is very noisy. A maytag repairman told me I need to buy a whole kit consisting of a drum, bearings and seals. The machine is only 2.5 years ols. Why can't I just get the bearings if they are scored?

center bearing that holds the shaft is bad and lets the shaft move

Sounds like the bearing is bad, and needs replaced.
