It sounds like the dm bd. is loose. This is the module with the DLP IC on it. With the back off of the unit their is a module directly in the middle of the chasis that has a metal shield around it. Try to move it gently to see if it is loose. If it is loose that is what the picture is tilted. This is very difficult to align, but if you have someone watch the picture as you gently move this module you can get it strait. Then locate the screws that keep it tight and snug them

Tilted picture

You must be placing the TV near something Magnetic, Speakers, etc. This would account for the green in the corners. The tilted picture is most likely the yoke in the set has moved during rough handling. The first issue can be fixed with a degausssing coil, the second requires a technician to manually realign the yoke assebly and perform a convergence on the set.

This problem might be caused by an external magnetic field. Most modern Sony tv sets have a picture rotation control. Go to the setup menu and select Picture Rotation. Your user guide will explain.

Slanted picture

Your deflection yoke (a coil around the neck of the picture tube) must have gotten turned. Your can turn the picture upside down by rotating this coil. If your set is in warranty, you should return it. When this "yoke" is adjusted the color is affected too. If you try this yourself you'd void the warranty and mess up your color. Stargazer
