Radio switches off automatically every five minutes

It's possible that the Harmony foot switch has become damaged or faulty. One thing you could try is to unplug the pedal from power, disconnect the footswitch from the unit, and then reconnect it to see if that resolves the issue. If that doesn't work, it could be a more serious issue that requires repair or replacement of the footswitch. You may want to try contacting Digitech customer support to see if they have any troubleshooting suggestions or if they can provide guidance on where to find a service agent in your area.

Try a reset. you are the only one with this issue.

Question edited for full 'make model (what it is)'. Plus it appears to be an 'RP', no an 'ro', and Capitalised.

It seems to have issues and because of that was discontinued. Take it to your local music store, they will know an electronics engineer.

If it's anything like my radio (model below), pressing the power button repeatedly as you turn it on sets the "sleep" mode.
The number shown on the screen with each press it the number of minutes before it turns off. When it shows "on" it stays on indefinitely.

All DigiTech expression pedals use an optical system instead of potentiometers.

Either the light is broke, or the filter.

The filter protrudes from the bottom of the pedal, and is darker at the top and gradually fades to clear at the bottom. If this breaks off, then there's nothing to limit the amount of light to the optical system.

If it is the light, then you'll have to have it serviced by someone qualified to work on it. Your local music shop should be able to help you out.

Such a special part will require going to Digitech, support, and parts. The part should be fairly inexpensive.

I removed the back cover, unscrewed the two (of 4) screws holding down the circuit board, replaced them again, and it worked fine.
