This is a common problem with the bs 9000. you need to take it in to an authorized repair shop where they will readjust the pickup (moving thing).

Need power supply for bang & olufsen beosound 9000

However my experience of B&O is that the boards are well designed and are repairable at component level.
You will struggle to find a reasonable replacement, and if all the inductors are OK and there has been no big burn-up you would do better to replace the main capacitors and check the semiconductors. That will give you a good chance of getting it working.
A good electronics hobbyist or a local tv repair place might tackle the repair at component level.

Hi, I have a Hatachi AXM89MP3uk sterio that will be 2yrs old on 23rd Dec. It has just stopped giving any output. No buzz as the speakers are connected or disconnected and the same for the headphone...

I had this problem and found that it was a capacitor broken on the main circuit board. It was capacitor 639 which is a 20nF ceramic capacitor. I only had a 100nF so switched the faulty one for this, replaced the fuse F2 and it now works fine. If the fuse is blowing It is most likely this capacitor or the one above it, or the diodes next to them. When this capacitor breaks it puts 28Vac across the fuse and blows it. If you can use a soldering iron its not too difficult to fix. Hope this helps.

Bang Olufsen Beosound 9000 - CD carriage will not move on command but does so randomly following a number of button pushes

some odd problems with beosound 9000 can be caused by the finger protection device.make sure the 2 clear plastic towers at either end of the aluminium part are clean as well as the underside of the glass door between the 2 towers.

ok sounds simple you ran the lines threw the tv instead all lines should be ran threw the sterio

see once you turn tv off this cuts the outputs out so now no sound will happen
your sterio should be equipted to take inputs of tv
you want everything to be inputed threw receiver thats why they call it a receiver the outputs on tv goto inputs on receiver
you need to redo your wireing so that this which i described is correct again

I have a philips cd player model# FW-C70/37, that has power going to it but has no sound coming from any of the speakers, nor will the cd changer open.

cd players work without use of volume controls coax cables hook up's and then by setting reciever to proper button so sound can come out
you might have had a power surge that fried your system but lets look at easy stuff first
fuses
lines in properly and connected
test on an old sterio with speaker hook ups and test your speakers by plugging in to old beat box
make sure wires are not scorched
turn on receiver fm see if speakers work change channels to sterio and mono settings if speakers start to work on sterio or mono setting chances are power surge blew out your system
hope this worked
