Ipod volume Volume bar says max, volume is low. Would this be battery related, since battery strength was low? Has never happened before even when battery strength was low.
Not at all ,On your ipod there is a volume CONTROLL LIMITER so look for that feature on the ipod and u would see that it is low and it possible that u can raise the volume.

If the original recording is on low volume then you will get louder sound on the player device while if the recording is at high volume the you get low levels on player. try recording at lower volume settings on the phone. Then when you play it it will sound louder on increased volume.
Most newer car receivers have a feature named something like "level balancing" in which you can adjust the relative loudness of each input (Tuner, CD, AUX, IPOD). Check you owner's manual for a similar function.
Also, are you or can you turn the level of the ipod itself up a bit?
Hi, Your battery might be going out. If you are sure that your battery is OK, then go to iTunes and make sure that you can see your iTunes library.
Go to the menu bar and click on Edit. Then click on Select all. All of your music will be selected and turn blue.
Right Click anywhere in the music library.
You will get a message that asks if you want to edit all of your music library. You will click 'Yes'.
A new window will open. There will be 4 tabs. Pick the one that says Options. There you will see a slider to adjust the volume in all of your music. The slider will be set in the middle. You can slide it to the right to about 80-90.
Close your window. iTunes will begin changing the volume on all of your music.
When it is finished, plug in your iPod and see how much different it sounds. Turn down the volumn on your iPod until you can readjust it.
Check the headphones. They might be burnt up. Test it out with another set. If that doesn't work, you can change the settings of the ipod while connected to itunes. Go to options, settings, and change the volume max to higher.
