Take the back off there should be a small rectangle with 6 buttons on it 3 for focus and 3 for the G2 (screens) some models have this control in the front behind the speaker grille behind an access panel and others have the control switch on the circuit board that is attav=ched to the crt neck. Either way its just a small switch much like a volume switch but smaller. Depending on what chassis you have it will be in one of the 3 areas I have mentioned. just turn it down a little. If that doesnt take the lines away you will need to trouble shoot the blue drive circuit.

I have blue lines across the tv

You either have bad Blue Tube or you need to adjust the Blue Screen control down that controls the drive to Picture Tube
You will have to remove the Front bottom panel and behind it is the Focus/Screen control Block it will have 3 controls on top for Focus to each Tube and 3 controls under them for Screen drive to R/G/B Tubes

KP-65WV600 Red and Green Lamps fade out after about 15 seconds

Hi, if the tubes fade from full brilliance to black over a few seconds, the possible sounds like dry joints in the CRT heater circuits. possibly caused by dry joints (bad solder joints). Most repairs involving rear projection TV's can be a pig (mainly relating to access to work on the circuit boards)

My tv 65rpwv600 just starts showing a blue colors on screen and after that it turns BLUE. i can't watch it but i can hesr it and also before this problems some very light lines (horizontals) were on the...

you either have a screen control drifting or a bad blue crt
you can access the screen controls behind the speaker grill and the black cover behind it the blue will be on one end or the other
there are 6 controls three are focus three are screen
turn the blue down slightly and see if it clears up before it shuts down the deflection if it continues to drift you might want to order a screen controls block and change it out

I have a KP-65WV700 and the screen looks a lil to green

OK, I'm the guy that was having the same problem, but had a blue tint to the screen. I also had blue lines running across the screen, and when I followed the steps below that were posted by another user not only did the lines disappear, but the blue haze vanished as well. My tv looks like it's new again, so you may want to try this:

I have fixed this several times on my KP 65WV700

As Slinteriors posted if it is a thin curved line you need to adjust the screen control, it's sorta like a brightness for each color, and if one color is too high it will produce a thin curved line.

The best way I have found to get to the controls is by removing the lower grey speaker cover front the front of the TV. There are 6 screws if i remember, 3 on each side. Then it snaps off, seems like its going to break but you have to pop it off pretty good.

Once its loose you have to remove a cardboard like cover plate in the center that will give you access to the small controller board.

Now be very careful while experimenting on which knob controls which colors. Turn them very slow, if you turn to fast you will cause your TV to shut down. If this happens, turn the adjustment back to original spot and turn TV back on and take it slow.

Adjust the correct color until the line just goes away. Its easiest to do this with a black screen.

Blue gun control

Remove the front speaker grille and also the smal;l access panel and you will see a small control box with 6 switches 3 control the focous and 3 control the screen control. The screen control will be laid out like the CRTs are Green in the center and blue and red on either side just turn the blue down very little or you will make the CRTs shut down.

I followed GuestUser/ Slinteriors advice and I fixed it. Open the front of the TV and there are 6 little nobs in the front. The botton 3 are what you need to adjust. from left to right the color controls are BLUE, RED GREEN. For the blue lines, slightly (I really mean very slightly) turn the botton left nob clockwise (right).
