I can able to hear sound unable to head sound at other end,i re installed sound driver and finally operating system also same problem happens again,i replaced with other mic again unable to head out side,in the hardware test also mic seems to be diaabled..where is the actual problem,please help me any one know this pblm.... - shyjuuuuu

Hi Mairaj, please click the link posted below. This is Asus download site for your board P5S800-VM. Suggest you bookmark this page in case you need another driver.
http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?modelname=P5S800-VM&SLanguage=en-us

Creat a folder on your desktop & name it Audio.
Click the + sign next to Audio. If you are using Win XP home or Pro download,
Realtek ALC655 AC''97 Audio Driver V3.66 for Windows 98/ME/2000/XP(WHQL)/2003.
File size 24.17MB. Save file 32b366.zip in the folder you created.

The file 32b366.zip must be uncompressed before you can install it. If you do not have winzip please download this program for free from the link below. Install winzip into your PC.

Once the file 32b366.zip has been uncompressed you can install the software.

thats the link for the drivers, if it does not work go
www.asus.com then find download link on the top bar and input *********** model on the left blank space... thats all you need to find drivers for that...

well i removed some programs from my computer that i thought i didnt need but then i couldnt here audio my speaker work but the audio seems stuck on the low n i acidently deleted that program called multimedia audio controller well its asking me for driver pack or cd #2 something like that well if u could help me out thanks

hi, I have problem with my audio device. My Usb speaker is working but my microphone when someone calls or i call is not working. My multimedia audio controller is not installed. I lost my CD hardware for my Asus A7V8X-X. Pls help
