What is Netgear44 password for wifi

If the Wireless is Secured, only the person that secured it would know. If you are refering to the default password try Netgear Support: http://support.netgear.com/for_home/default.aspx You ca always reset the Wireless Device to default setting and reconfigure the SSID and the Security Key(password). Take a look at this: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/119/~/configuring-your-netgear-router-for-cable-internet-connection OR This: http://kbserver.netgear.com/pdf/wireless_router_setupmanual.pdf

My wireless signal is indicated, it DOES NOT light up, no icon recognition at the bottom right for a signal, BUT the wireless router works for the desktops , 2 with NO problem

Try resetting it to factory default setttings. Use a paperclip to hold the reset button down in the back for 30 seconds. It will come up as "NETGEAR" with no security when it resets. Try to connect to it and see if everything works that way first, then re-set everything up as far as security passwords for the network and all. If it worked as NETGEAR with no security but not after you set up security, something isn't compatible.

Netgear router wgr6144v7/ I need the security code to set up my TV / I cannot find the manuel

hold the reset button on the router for 5-10 seconds and let go. this will reset the router to default settings. that will probly take the security code off, or put the default code on. if there is a default security code it should be on the router, if not, then resetting will take the security code off

Have I got security on my netgear

If you try and connect to your router and it is asking for a security key then it is secured however if you do not know your password then you will need to reset the modem "Below is a link to show you how" The link under it will show you how to secure it.

I need the security key to my existing wireless netgear router.

The Security Key is normally used for Wireless routers to protect your connection from any unauthorized use. As you have said that you do not have the Security key for your router with you, the best way to connect your ACER laptop to the Netgear router is by asking your Wireless service provider to reset the security key & freshly reentering the same on both of your HP & ACER laptops.

Netgear MGT624: My netbook shows its connected to my router but

Re4place your Wireless Access code as set up with router control program. Often wireless access is denied when mistakes are made with this pass code. Just replace whatever code you have with another (simpler?) code or even going to "None" for Security. To try and establish comm through the router, if it succeeds with no security try again with perhaps WPA-[TKIP] coding.

Trying to find wep key to connect dsi with netgear wgr614 v9

You can find the wireless security password by accessing the router'sadmin page http://192.168.0.1 (username is admin and password is password) then go to the wireless security tab. There you can find the password or WEP key (10-digit code). If you can't login to the router'sadmin page, you can reset the router by pressing the reset button atthe back of it for 20 seconds then power cycle the router by turning itoff for 10 seconds.
