Inspect your fusing unit carefully, do not use any sharp things, you can damage the fusing roller. see that the sensor is moving fine, that the separator are OK, not broken.
if thats not helping and you wont find anything, last thing is remove back and side covers, carefully remove TBU, unhook the connectors and remove two screws in fuser sides and remove fusing unit to inspect it a little closer.and find the problem.

Sharp SF-1118 copying machine H 3 Error

This is a heating error for the fusing section, the lamps may be damaged or there could be a build up of dust and debris on the thermistors that monitor temperature. I would check the fusing section. THIS IS THE UNIT THAT HAS THE TWO ROLLERS THAT THE PAPER PASSES THROUGH AT THE END OF THE PAPER PATH. Check there is nothing jammed or damaged. you may need to replace unit.

Paper to thick for printer and has jammed, have attempted all manual methods to locate the paper, take out the toner and check the back but still cant locate paper

if there is no paper inside then one of the sensors are broken thats why it is indicating the paper jam sign. check the fusing unit. the paper must be inside that unit and its hard to see. fusing unit is the unit before the paper exit unit or from where the paper comes out.

If the printer does not start printing automatically, press the Go button. If the printer still does not start printing, please check that all the remaining jammed paper has been removed from the printer. Then try printing again.
Note
    • If a paper jam occurs when using the optional lower tray unit, check for correct installation of the upper paper tray.
    • Always remove all paper from the paper tray and straighten the stack when you add new paper. This helps prevent multiple sheets of paper from feeding through the printer at one time and reduces paper jams.

If you have to pull the paper toward the back of the printer, the fuser may get dirty with toner powder and it may scatter on the next few printouts. Print a few copies of the test page until the scattering of toner stops.

Re: Paper Jam

I'am sorry to say that you have to replace the fusing unit on that machine, when it jams inthe fuser like that the fusing unit is going bad. the fusing units range from: $200.00 to $295.00 plus service call. You may think about replacing it, sorry for the bad news. I've worked on about 5 of those machines with the same problem and it always comes down to replacing the fusing unit, even if you get the paper out it will jam again.
